As production coordinator at Pitch Hammer,
Ryan Andrews helps manage one of the industry’s most elite boutique music libraries and works with clients to make certain a premium end product. His music production background combined with his tech knowledge has allowed him to ensure clients’ complete satisfaction when it comes to service and custom requests.
Ryan was born in Chicago and raised in Michigan where he received his Bachelor’s degree in jazz performance and Spanish from Western Michigan University. After graduation he left Michigan for warmer climes and received his Master’s in the prestigious Studio Jazz Writing program at the University of Miami in Florida, during which time he was mentored in composition by Lyle Mays of the Pat Metheny Group. While in school Ryan was the recipient of eleven Downbeat Student Awards for his composing, performing, and production, and in 2012 was awarded the ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award.
In his spare time Ryan enjoys keeping up with the latest tech trends, traveling,
beaching, skiing and beating Veigar in Monopoly. He’s happy to be a part of one of the the best teams around at Pitch Hammer as they continue to grow and eventually take over the world.
